Where It Starts Maybe it's you, or maybe it's someone close to you. Either way, what started out as a trivial recreational type thing, or maybe even an experimental phase, has gone on to consume a life purposed for much greater things then the present seems to offer. Everyday becomes a struggle to survive let alone to accomplish gaining any ground. Instead, ground seems to slip away at an alarming rate, right along with all stability and assurance of being able to escape the pit-bound downward spiral life's become. Life quickly becomes more pain-filled then ever before. In the mind, the problem becomes the solution, as the need to escape seems to be filled through use of chemicals, and the person then caught in the drift of the seemingly inescapable addiction fades away, spinning their wheels until an outside force acts as a lifeguard.

Where It Goes Once caught in the realm of addiction, most people eventually succumb to depression, despair, bitterness and self-pity. Substance abuse is the cause of more broken homes, family dysfunction and destroyed lives than almost any other single factor, affecting like a plague in one fashion or another, almost every nation on earth. This destructive force leaves in it's wake bitter devastation, especially within the younger generation, providing the devil an indispensable efficient and effective tool for depriving people of an abundantly fulfilled life.
